Accessibility Education
For this project I was responsible for learning about and defining accessibility, identifying accessibility tools, and creating a list of writing and design tips for accessibility. My project had to include a summary of accessibility principles, a summary of a perspective video (voice recognition in this case), a description of how the WAVE accessibility tool works, and an explanation of how to add alt-text to images using software.
I preformed rapid research to find the information that I needed to complete this project. This research included how to use the WAVE accessibility tool and why voice recognition is important to creating accessible content for the web and documents. I also familiarized myself with the accessibility tool included in Microsoft Word to create an accessible document, as well as to describe how to add alt-text to images. Apart from this, I used the styles tool in Microsoft word to ensure that my project was consistent, and my content was well organized according to the guidelines of the project.

Rapid research was vital to the success I achieved with this project, as it was necessary for learning about accessibility, something that I knew almost nothing about, and completing the assignment on time. The consistency of my document also helped me succeed because being consistent is important when making any project, as it ensures that the document appears well thought-out and professional. Due to the actions I took, I received 90 per cent on the project.
